Caldow Builders works predominantly with small to medium-sized commercial buildings, particularly retail premises.
“We do a lot of new builds in concrete panels and glass, such as the new Mitre 10 in Foxton. Because we cast our own concrete in our own yards, we can be very competitive with our pricing. The fact we have 17 staff means we can allocate our resources where we need them and tackle any size project,” says Rodney Caldow.
As well as new builds, Caldow Builders also does shop refitting and recently worked on Mitre 10 Levin. A project they are particularly proud of is a special needs classroom at Waiopehu College. The classroom had to be wheelchair accessible and safe for all users, something they took in their stride.
